Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) Workshop

Offered as two one-day modules, this RPE Workshop is the ideal starting point for new RPE users. The course will also benefit more experienced users who wish to refresh and mature their RPE skills.

Format and Duration

Day one - classroom based presentations interleaved with exercises based on examples. Introduces delegates to the basic concepts of using RPE with DOORS as the source material and builds skills in creating RPE templates. Some of the more advanced configuration and additional RPE features will also be discussed.

Day two - classroom or workshop based, discussion of topics arising from Day one and covers issues and problems experienced with the implementation of RPE within the project environment. Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own examples of project documentation.

These days need not be consecutive, indeed time to reflect and practice between the days would probably be advantageous. On a customer site Day 2 can be tailored to specific customer needs.
