Integrate takes over support of IBM Rational DOORS in MoD

Integrate is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a three-year contract to provide 2nd-line technical support for IBM Rational DOORS within the Ministry of Defence.

Rational DOORS is the MoD’s preferred software tool for requirements management. Under the contract, Integrate will field a team of specialists who will provide DOORS users with application support. The Integrate team will also be responsible for database administration and software updates.

The new contract builds on Integrate’s established relationship with MoD in the field of requirements and assurance. For over six years, Integrate has been assisting MoD in promoting best practice requirements and assurance management using DOORS. As part of this body of work, Integrate provides two DOORS extensions, KEYPAQ and ADMIS, which are in use widely across the MoD’s procurement teams. KEYPAQ helps MoD staff prepare high quality, contract-ready requirements documents for new equipment purchases, while ADMIS supports the management of assumptions and dependencies across the MoD’s large portfolio of acquisition programmes.

Integrate’s Managing Director Paul Fielding commented “Effective management of requirements and assurance activities are crucial to MoD’s equipment acquisition programme. This new contract for Integrate is a further demonstration of our important contribution in this vital area, and a vote of confidence in the expertise and professionalism of our consultants.”
